District 11 Waterloo Executive 2018-19

Last year we celebrated RTO/ERO's 50th Anniversary with luncheons, movies, workshops, trips and plays. Watch for all the activities we are currently planning.

Newsletter - The Newsletter team has openings for editors.  A number of the present members have been working on our newsletter for over 12 years and plan to retire after our fall issue.  If you are interested in taking part in producing this popular and effective newsletter, please let us know.  Just indicate your interest to Sylvia Ranson.

2019 Annual RTO/ERO Charity Golf Classic.....The 2018 annual tournament proved to be a fun day of visiting with colleagues and playing golf but it is also a wonderul fundraiser for local hospitals. Grand River Hospital was presented with a cheque for $11,000.  Cambridge Memorial and St Mary's were each presented with a cheque for $1,000.  Thank you to all who participated.

Our wonderful, talented and hardworking Golf Committee is already planning the 2019 Tournament for September 10, 2019.

Retirement Planning Workshop....Over 160 people considering retirement attended our first Saturday morning workshop on April 27, 2019.  Our next workshop will be in November.  Watch for the date, time and location.

Retired Teachers of Ontario welcomes all employees retiring from school boards and universities and colleges including administrators, child and youth workers, custodial and office staff, EA's, ECE's, educators, management professionals and all other support staff.
