This year we have celebrated RTO/ERO's 50th Anniversary with luncheons, movies, workshops, trips and plays. Stay tuned for all the activities we are planning for 2019.

RTO/ERO Scholarship Awards  The RTO/ERO Scholarship Deadline is February 5, 2019.  This scholarship applies to all RTO members with a close relative enrolled in the last year of a program  providing teaching credentials recognized by the appropriate provincial teacher regulatory body leading to a career in teaching in Canada.  For further information, and how to apply visit;  http://www.rto-ero.org/programs-services/scholarship-program

2018 Annual RTO/ERO Charity Golf Classic.....The annual tournament proved again this year to be a fun day of visiting with colleagues and playing golf but it is also a wonderul fundraiser for local hospitals. This year Grand River Hospital was presented with a cheque for $11,000.  Cambridge Memorial and St Mary's were each presented with a cheque for $1,000.  Thank you to all who participated. Special thanks to the wonderful, talented and hardworking Golf Committee.

Retirement Planning Workshop....Our 2018 Workshop in November proved to be a huge success.  So successful, in fact, we are planning two workshop for next year.

If you know someone who is planning to retire within the next five years, encourage them to come to one of our workshops so they can make a well-informed decision about the RTO/ERO Group Health Insurance Plan (including travel Insurance) and everything else RTO/ERO has to offer.  Our insurance plan is unique.  It is non-profit and owned and administered by members.

Retired Teachers of Ontario welcomes all employees retiring from school boards and universities and colleges including administrators, child and youth workers, custodial and office staff, EA's, ECE's, educators, management professionals and all other support staff.
